CHONGQING · PLAN YOUR TRIP

Chongqing with family: pace, rooms and child costs

Build the day around the family’s routine, including children’s naps and older travellers’ rest time.

Fit the plan to the family

Independent arrangements

Discuss your own timetable. Existing private-group reference ranges cover 2–6 people; other sizes, vehicles and guide availability require confirmation.

Different walking needs

Explain stairs, continuous walking and pushchair needs. Reduce stops or change the route when access does not suit; a “family” label is not a guarantee of easy walking.

Days, rooms and meals

City or one outlying area

A city day or two-day plan can leave space for meals and naps. Compare Wulong over two days or a Dazu day trip if the group wants an outlying visit.

Confirm the hotel entrance

Check lift access, entrance steps, drop-off location, room beds, occupancy, breakfast and extra-bed costs.

Child costs are separate items

Every child needs a vehicle seat. Confirm suitable equipment, child admission, scenic transport, bed and breakfast costs; do not assume all items are half price.

Food and return trips

Explain specific dietary needs to staff and the restaurant. A midday hotel return depends on the route and service hours; additional transfers and changes need agreement.

Before booking

Is an English- or Korean-speaking guide included?

Availability, dates, hours and additional fees must be confirmed. Driver service is not guide service.

Is this a final quotation?

No. Staff must confirm dates, party size, rooms, vehicle, tickets, services and change/cancellation terms in writing.
